Eisenhower's four acre site, located between Waggoner Park and a llama farm, was acquired in 1968. The unique construction is elevated in relation to the surrounding grade allowing for rising water from the nearby Johnson Creek. The original school building was constructed using the open classroom concept. In 1991 there were 8 classrooms added on--4 on the west side and 4 on the east side. Walls were added in 2000, closing in all rooms. |
